Season’s Greetings

Pine cones on the Evergreen,
The beauty of winter to be seen.

A time of wonder and transition,
Filled with hope, joy and holiday tradition.

Landscapes draped in white.
Frozen windowpanes a magical sight.

People bustling to and fro,
Festive lights all aglow.

A crackling fire in the grate,
Hot chocolate and marshmallows to await.

Sleigh rides on top of ice and snow,
The promise of spring well hidden below.

Family and friends gathering near,
Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
