Nissan National Ski & Snowboard Week (NSSW) is quickly approaching and set to take place at ski and snowboard areas across Canada January 15-23, 2005. A Week of Fun on the Slopes Nissan National Ski and Snowboard Week (NSSW) is a full week of great deals, promotions, and parties on the slopes. Many of your favourite ski and snowboard resorts across Canada will be participating and offering you specials so join in and celebrate the NSSW festivities. "Nissan National Ski and Snowboard Week is our opportunity to get Canadians out sliding on Canada’s slopes," says Colin Chedore, President of the Canadian Ski Council. NSSW will include all sorts of events for all ages and all abilities. "We want to encourage Canadians to get outdoors and enjoy the best of winter during this special week." Nissan National Ski & Snowboard Week (NSSW) Celebrations The coast-to-coast events are sponsored annually by Nissan and produced by the Canadian Ski Council. It’s an entire week plus two full weekends of celebrations on snow. Freeskiers compete in big air competitions. Snowboarders nail tricks in the halfpipes. Boarder and skier crosses stun fans. Kids get their faces painted. Outdoor concerts rock during après-ski. And families get great deals on trail, lifts, lessons and rentals through special deals on Discover Skiing, Discover Snowboarding and Discover Cross-Country.
