Christmas as Always

It is
the year 2000
and Christmas Eve is here,
the bells are ringing everywhere
and all of us can hear.
So
beautiful the Christmastree
and presents underneath,
we open up the parcels,
the eyes get wet and full of glee.
We all
start singing from far and wide:
Silent Night - Holy Night.
To bed
we go, but can not sleep,
so we begin to count the sheep.
The morning starts, it’s getting light,
look out the window, all is white.
Happiness
is all we see,
Good Will and Peace on earth for thee,
Love for each other shall never end,
anger, frustration must take an end.
Let’s
pray to GOD - let’s pray to HIM:
we beg YOU, LORD, forgive our sin.
