PEO and Society announce
Call for Nominations for
Ontario Professional Engineers Awards
Toronto - (January 15, 2004) - Professional Engineers
Ontario (PEO) and the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (the
Society) are seeking nominations of outstanding professional engineers for
the Ontario Professional Engineers Awards (OPEA), which are presented
annually by PEO and the Society.
The Ontario Professional Engineers Awards recognize
exceptional professional engineers for their achievements. Nominees who
excel in engineering are eligible for Engineering Medals, those who have
contributed significantly to the community for Citizenship Awards.
Nominations can be made
in the following categories:
Engineering Medals
- Engineering Excellence
- Research and Development
- Management
- Entrepreneurship
- Young Engineer Award
Citizenship Awards
- For society outside of an engineering context
- For social betterment within an engineering context
Deadline for submitting nominations in confidence is March
31, 2004. The awards will be presented at a gala presentation on November
20, 2004.

Professional Engineers Ontario administers the

names.
