Ontarians Can Have Their Say Online |

TORONTO, Feb. 12 /CNW/ - Delivering Change: Budget Town Hall 2004 went online, providing another way for Ontarians to have their say about how best to deliver the change Ontario needs to be strong, healthy and prosperous. "Ontarians have told us to help students succeed, keep Ontarians healthy, create safe, clean and livable communities, and build a prosperous economy - while living within our means," said Premier Dalton McGuinty. "The $5.6 billion deficit we have inherited is a challenge, but it’s also an opportunity to take a close look at everything the government does, to make sure we are truly focused on the priorities of Ontarians." Ontarians can log on to the website at www.townhallontario.gov.on.ca . Once there, they can assess several approaches to developing the next provincial budget and have their say. "I urge Ontarians to join our dialogue on the web, as well as in person at regional town halls and other venues," said Premier McGuinty. "It’s all about working with Ontarians so that government works for them."
