Germany Info Unveils Redesigned Website
TWIG - Germany Info relaunched its Internet presence this week at
www.germany-info.org
. Germany’s leading English-language website now offers a new look and more
features. The site, produced jointly by the German Embassy in Washington and
the German Information Center in New York, receives about 3.3 million hits,
or 1 million page requests, each month, an audience that has grown steadily
since the site was first launched in 1996.
The site’s production and editing team has redesigned, reorganized and updated Germany Info to better serve the needs of users. It now offers more frequent updates on everything from political news to scientific advances to cultural highlights; helpful tools such as a consulate finder, allowing users anywhere in the U.S. or Canada to locate their nearest German consulate; and more than 400 links to both English and German-language sites in all categories from business to sports.
