Relations between Switzerland and Canada on a high
At this summers National Holiday Swiss Consul General Jean Claude Hagmann expressed his pleasure for the increasingly good relationship between the two countries of Switzerland and Canada to all those present, which had not gone on Vacation at the end of July. The visitations of Swiss delegations in several provinces deepened the understanding through dialogue on various subjects. Cultural interactions were also well received he said. He and his staff were looking forward to further cooperation and the deepening of friendships.
The location was the much-favoured Ontario Club with its fabulous kitchen that can adapt to any national style of cuisine. Swiss fare is just one sample of the chef’s talent. No doubt that is the reason why this venue is favoured by so many diplomatic missions. The many guests, including many of the diplomatic corps in Canada and even from the USA praised the rare and delicious wines of Switzerland that could be sampled and the extremely well stocked buffet of cold and hot Swiss delicacies and deserts. Of course, the alphorn players delighted again by performing the national anthems.
This pleasant evening only furthered good memories of Switzerland even more. SFR.
