A Mother’s Legacy

With flowers in hand,
Beside her resting place I stand.
Sweet memories fill my mind,
Each one of a Mother gentle and kind.
I recall the warmth of her loving
embrace,
Also a vision of her face.
In my heart she will always be
near,
Even though she is gone from here.
Her gift of love most precious to
me,
Is her eternal legacy.
