Psychiatric Drugging of Children |
||
The Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) held a public forum this week at Toronto City Hall, exposing psychiatric drugging of children. The event was hosted by Television Producer, Khadija Kathy Ali (left). To her right are: Nicole Crellin, CCHR Public Advisor; Bob Dobson-Smith, CCHR spokesperson; Dr. Sabina DeVita, special guest who provided information on non drug approaches to solving learning and behavior problems and Kelly Bainbridge, mother who is being coerced to have her 7-year old son put on psychiatric drugs as a condition to attending school. CCHR encouraged the public to write to their legislative representative about this issue and demand that laws providing for or proposing psychiatric or psychological screening of schoolchildren be prevented and that only educational solutions be used to address learning and behavioral problems in the classroom. They also announced that a CCHR mobile exhibit that has been travelling through various cities around the world will be arriving soon to Toronto and will document the 300-year history of psychiatric abuse.
