Toronto, Ontario… Cattle Productions is thrilled to announce that Sleepless: A New Musical from the creators of Top Gun! The Musical, will premiere at the Toronto Fringe Festival, opening Wednesday, June 30 at 7:00 pm at the Tarragon Theatre Mainspace, 30 Bridgman Avenue, Toronto. The Fringe runs June 30 to July 11, 2004.

We all have dreams. But what happens to those dreams, perchance, when sleep eludes you? At the Hasta La Siesta Sleep Disorder Clinic, nights are anything but restful. An insomniac pines for a sleepwalker. A narcoleptic and his chronically fatigued wife struggle to keep from killing each other. And an overworked nurse strains to treat her newest patient: a mysterious stranger who claims he hasn’t slept in over twenty years. Sleepless is for anyone who’s ever faced the dawn with bloodshot eyes and twisted sheets.

Sleepless features six of the finest and most experienced musical theatre performers in Toronto and a three-piece band! Sleepless is written by Denis McGrath (Top Gun! The Musical, Shooter, American Without Tears) with music and musical direction by Scott White (Top Gun! The Musical, Dance of the Dead, and the upcoming Choralocity!).
