The Greatest Show on Earth... |

…Well, maybe we should leave this to Barnum and Bailey – and maybe the Total Health 2000 show and 23rd Annual Convention and Exhibition was not the greatest show on earth. But it was one of them! Hosted by the Consumer Health Organization in Toronto at the Toronto Convention Centre on the 18th & 19th of March, it was one of the most complete "health oriented" shows I have ever attended. Exhibitors from as far away as Vancouver and Colorado displayed alongside the more local vendors of health products of every description. It didn’t matter if the health-conscious consumer was interested in beneficial herbs, health foods, clean water, nutrition or magnetic products, one could find almost everything here. The list is too long for this report. Those of the thousands of visitors – consumer, retailers and healthcare professionals - that attended this exhibition will agree with me that it was one of the best total health-exhibition Toronto has ever had. It also demonstrated very graphically that more people than ever before are aware of the fact that – health wise – not everything is as it should be and that people will have to take responsibility for their own health and well-being. They are aware of poor nutritional products form the supermarket and that supplementation with the missing vitamins and minerals and trace-minerals is a dire necessity. To help this desire for knowledge along, over 40 speakers held lectures and seminars during the show. Some of the rooms where the lectures were held, featured standing-room only. More proof that people want to know about the themes that were offered. Of course I attended as many of these lectures as possible myself. One of them was the lecture by Lorna Vanderhaeghe, from Burnaby, BC about the Immune System and what you can do to get it to work properly. Patrick Flanagan, from Sedona, Arizona instructed on the benefits of Microhydrin and what incomplete hydrogen molecules (H-) can do to free radicals, and the story on the famous Hunza Water. His inventive mind (he has about 300 patents to his credit) fascinated the audience. His co-operation with Patrick Flannagan led Dr. Dennis Higgins from Fullerton, California, to discoveries of bio-cellular analyzers and bio-terrain-assessment and the founding of the Universal Water Lab in1982 and the manufacture of cutting-edge purification equipment and clinical studies of Microhydrin. Dr. Len Horowitz, from Sandpoint , Idaho and a Harvard graduate, was a real surprise. He spoke about the dangers of vaccinations and knew all about the Illuminati, tainted bloodlines and their nefarious ways throughout history. He is also an internationally known authority on public health education. Toronto’s own Ben Kerr – you may remember him from his Toronto Harbour Commission days – was all about the "Cayenne Pepper Cocktail" that saved his life at a time when he said he had "one foot in the grave and another on a banana peel" back in 1969. He ran all over the United States to prove its virtues and is a regular on the Joey Reynolds Show, broadcast from New York across the United States and Canada on over 100 radio stations - and around the world on the Internet. There were so many more speakers from all over the continent that it is impossible to list them all here. But one of the most impressive and outstanding lecturers must have been German-born Frank Ludde, from Vancouver, and his "Metabolic Therapy". Blessed by the fact that his knowledge is not tainted by something learned in conventional medical schools, he is entirely self-taught and has – with typical Teutonic thoroughness – investigated "what makes man tick" since about 1988. His presentation was given in flawless English - and an equally flawless German accent - and you came away from his lecture with the feeling that he is a very knowledgeable, considerate, responsible and concerned practitioner. We had a write-up in our last issue about the "Ludde Protocol" (page 10) that you might want to re-read. His proven theory is that if the body is to rebuild itself – since it is self-repairing and health oriented – it has to produce about 50,000 proteins and 20,000 enzymes to successfully fight infection, sustain all bodily functions and repair any cellular damage. This inevitably results in health. It is that simple! So, unless the body gets what it needs it does not stay healthy. It also requires supplementation with the necessary vitamins and minerals – in the right proportions - to repair itself. Something regular nutrition no longer provides. On top of that, environmental pollution and toxins - that we are exposed to on a daily basis - do more damage than the body can handle. Often more damage than we are aware of ourselves. About 20,000 visitors to the show must have realized that "if you do not take care of your body, where are you going to live?" Another fascinating item that appealed to the "engineer" in me, was the "Global Environmental Energy Technology" also known as the GEET Engine. (Us Patent # 5794601) It is a novel fuel pre-treatment apparatus and method for pre-treating an alternate fuel to render it usable as fuel source for fuel burning equipment such as internal combustion engines, furnaces, boilers and turbines. Any fuel is suitable that contains more than 20% of hydrocarbons. (They claim that it even includes Pepsi Cola). They also say that it boosts fuel consumption by about 200%. Sounds great if it works! Paul Pantone, from Salt Lake City in Utah, who demonstrated a small version of a converted engine at the show, invented it and it is now in full production and in licensed establishments in Canada and the US. Everything you need to know is on their website: www.geet.com The reason for their presence at the show is the fact that emissions are drastically reduced, thus helping the environment. I like that! r.k.a. ( commerce, health )
