Louisa Hassner
on concert tour

Louisa is bringing "The Revelation of Jesus Christ" to Ontario!

Attention, Ontario, Louisa is coming! The internationally acclaimed concert singer and recording artist Louisa Hassner from Chilliwack, B.C. will be on a concert tour in Ontario during the latter part of March.

Louisa HassnerOn March 18th, Louisa will be opening her 2001 concert season with a benefit concert for the GHDA Earthquake Relief Fund (i.e. for the victims of the earthquake in El Salvador). This will be held at the Peace Lutheran Church, Abbotsford, and B.C.

A few days later Louisa will travel to Ontario, were she is scheduled to perform a total of five concerts in Toronto, Kitchener and Port Rowan. Guest artist will be the well known conductor and singer Willi Platzer.

Louisa plans, to present her audiences with a selection of 14 to 15 songs from her new release, an Oratorio entitled "The Revelation of Jesus Christ". She will thereby familiarize her public with what is undoubtedly the most comprehensive Christian musical work of the new Millennium.

Louisa will perform two concerts in German ("Die Offenbarung Jesu Christi") and three in English.

As special attraction Louisa plans to perform a duet together with the very popular choir director and baritone Willi Platzer.

"The Revelation of Jesus Christ" is a powerful, educational and entertaining musical guide through God’s entire plan of salvation. The lyrics faithfully follow the words of the Holy Bible. In 36 fascinating titles this Oratorio leads the listener from the Fall of Man in Paradise, to the First Coming of Jesus Christ, His Return, the Thousand Year Kingdom of Peace all the way to the final appearing of the New Heavens and New Earth! In accordance with its title, the emphasis of this work lies on "The Revelation", the most prophetic book of the New Testament.

From a musical point of view this Oratorio offers unequalled variety in musical styling, vocal expression and accompaniment. Its composition is of a classical nature, but reflects most of the major musical styles: e.g. baroque, classical, romantic and even some ballads in a modern musical style.

This remarkable work by J. Wolfgang Hassner has received already extensive media coverage, especially through German publications in North America.

Numerous excellent reviews, as well as glowing comments and letters from several musical experts from Canada, the U.S.A. and Germany are an indication that Louisa’s audiences in Ontario may look forward to an unforgettable musical experience.

Louisa is offering her music ministry to all congregations and encourages them, to contact her for concert arrangements.
