Peter Breuer, the Artistic Director of Salzburg Theater Ballet and S.I.B.A., "Salzburg International Ballet Academy", along with his associate director Yehuda Maor, are now accepting new students for a three-year program designed for students to complete and polish their education as professional dancers. SIBA offers classes that cover all aspects of classical ballet, modern technique, Pilates, and personal coaching for correct placement "MPT".

We would like to extend an invitation to participate in our International Intensive Ballet Workshop that will take place from July 11 through August 6th.

We also offer a special young choreographer’s program.

Dancers enrolling in SIBA with the focus and goal of becoming choreographers will be given the opportunity to choreograph and get feedback from current professionals in the field. All of these works will be videotaped and will become the property of the new choreographers. Some of the ballets will be presented in the academy performances after selection by the artistic director and the faculty staff.

The SIBA advanced students will have the opportunity to audition for "Salzburg Ballet Ensemble". Dancers selected for this semi professional company will learn the company repertoire and participate with the company (Salzburg Ballet) productions and perform for lecture demonstrations and go on tour.

SIBA is proud to announce that Maya Plissetskaya and her husband the composer Rodion Schdedrin, will be honorary guests at SIBA Summer Workshop
July 26th and 27th.

There will be master classes and talk show, where young students can meet one of the 20th century greatest ballerinas. Maya Plissetskaya will also sign her autobiography beastlier book "I’m Maya".
