TORONTO - Name Your Tune, the Toronto-based personalized CD for children, has been awarded PTPA Media Inc. (Parent Tested Parent Approved) Seal of Approval. The winners of the first-time award are selected based on value, functionality, quality and appeal of the product. PTPA Media's mission is to discover and appraise new products designed for children and families. Companies throughout North America submitted samples of their parenting product and they were matched with PTPA Media's large database of parents. The products were tested by savvy parenting reviewers and professionals and the results were compiled for PTPA Media Inc.'s review committee for the final decision. Name Your Tune is a fresh and exciting children's music compilation that is made-to-order and personalized for each child. Children will hear their name more than 80 times throughout 14 much-loved songs including Wheels on the Bus, If You're Happy and You Know It and Old MacDonald. The classic "Old MacDonald had a farm..." becomes "Little Hannah had a farm...". Name Your Tune is the only audio-visual product CD to receive this seal of approval and the US-based iParenting Media Award. Creator/Executive Producer, Candace Alper, is thrilled with the result. "From the very beginning our focus has been on making music fun for children and parents alike. Including the child's name in their favourite songs, we were able to take the classics to a different place. The CD was judged using an extensive questionnaire in order to receive the PTPA Media Award. I really appreciate the positive feedback from parents, caregivers and children who are enjoying sharing and experiencing Name Your Tune." Name Your Tune has been featured in The Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail, People Magazine (calling the CD the "most sought-after item" at this years' Golden Globes Celebrity and Media lounge), Today's Parent, Canadian Living, Inside Entertainment and Parents Magazine, among many radio stations across North America.
