The last of the Free Noon Hour Choir & Organ Concerts for the season, this performance, Ode to Youth, features conductor Zimfira Poloz and organist Shawn Grenke along with two outstanding children’s choirs.  The Hamilton choir was awarded First Prize in the Children’s Choir Category and won the Mondial Choral Cantabile Award at the 2008 CBC National Radio Choral Competition; and the High Park choir is the Children’s Choir-in-Residence at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Music.
