Merry Christmas and the best of Seasons from Echo Germanica

Memories of long ago
Now sweetly come to mind
Of childhood dreams and simple joys
Treasured by all mankind,

The fragrance of a Christmas Tree
All dressed in winter-white,
Paper dolls and chocolate hearts
And candles gleaming bright.

A Christkindl Market and happy people
Enchanted all children - what delight,
Friendly greetings for a Merry Christmas,
Church bells echoing “Silent night.”

As pure white snow is gently falling
Memories come back to mind
In childlike wonder we discover
The magic of Christmas for all mankind.
