New Year’s Eve behind a mask
"New Year’s Eve Behind a Mask" is the name of a comprehensive group program for the turn of the year offered Dec. 27, 2001-Jan. 1, 2002, by the Mercure Hotel in Riesa in Saxony.
It includes a city tour, excursion to Dresden and Meissen and into the protected Dahlen Heath, as well as a masked ball for New Year’s Eve.
It costs from 549 marks (280.70 Euro) per person for a group of at least 20 and includes five nights and board, welcome cocktail and souvenir.
For individuals, the "New Year’s Eve Behind a Mask" package can be booked from 300 marks (153.39 Euro) with two nights, breakfast, New Year’s Eve masked ball, welcome cocktail and souvenir.

New Year’s Eve party at the North Sea
In Wyk on the North Sea island Föhr, the local folk and their guests will be celebrating a companionable round.
Some examples of the festive program include New Year’s Eve feasting and dancing in many restaurants, a children’s New Year’s Eve party in the Cure Garden Salon and hustle-and-bustle on the Wyk Promenade where live music and culinary treats await.
