Benin-born and Paris-based vocalist Angélique Kidjo has achieved widespread popular and critical acclaim (including three Grammy nominations) since her debut release in 1988. First with American music styles on the album Oremi (1998) and more recently with Brazilian music on Black Ivory Soul (2002) - which
