years of holding this widely popular celebration. It is exciting
to see the whole city coming alive, as Niagara provides more to
do than anywhere else in Canada on this special night. Visitors

restaurants and spectacular hotel getaways, Niagara is the place
to be on New year’s Eve," Williams added.

maintained parks system with 1,720 hectares of parkland and 56 kilometres
of roads and recreational trails. It is, in fact, a city within
cities operating, controlling and maintaining its own police force,
road maintenance, snow removal and transportation systems and it
has done so without taxpayer support since 1885.
