Putting Artists on the Map

The Mississauga Culture Division has recently launched an initiative called Putting Artists on the Map to promote and support individual performing, visual, media and literary artists resident or working in Mississauga, in partnership with the Mississauga Library System, My Mississauga, Mississauga Arts Council, Visual Arts Mississauga and the Art Gallery of Mississauga. This is to support newcomers who are artists, professional artists as well as new artists who are residents of Mississauga (with a Mississauga postal code). Artists can put themselves on the Mississauga Cultural Map and promote what they do to residents and visitors through this initiative. To participate, artists should visit www.mississauga.ca/culturalmapping and click on the "Putting Artists on the Map" feature banner.
