From The Locker Room
Here I am writing to you once
again,
Spring is coming but who really knows when.
Yes, I know the topic is not very funny,
Though for me my attention is not on the Easter bunny.
I almost prefer to see all the ice and snow,
Cause I know I still have hockey left to go.
This Easter I'll have no thoughts of hunting for eggs,
Just putting the puck past the goaltenders legs.
Into the playoffs now, the teams doing great,
Won our first series, and won four games straight.
Our next series we played, finished four games to one,
I love playing hockey, though winning makes it fun.
There is a lot of hockey still left to play,
And hopefully we will continue right through to May.
I will keep you posted on the progress of the team,
As we continue striving and following our dream.
Hope all is well for you, this coming Spring,
For me I will continue doing my thing
Have a great Easter, I'll write for you later,
When I talk to you then, hope things are even greater.
