It’s all part of a special "Founder’s Breakfast" held by
Variety - The Children’s Charity. The occasion will pay tribute to
philanthropist and media legend George Gross and his contribution to
Variety. For the last quarter century, George Gross, Senior Sports Editor
for the Toronto Sun, tirelessly turned to his family, friends, peers and
readers asking them to donate funds and time to Variety. His continuing
support gave children of all abilities the opportunity to develop into
strong, healthy and confident adults. In attendance will be a long list of
sports figures, politicians and media personalities.
