(Toronto) – As one of Ontario’s most affordable family entertainment attractions, the CNE announced today that its advance ticket sales campaign will begin July 31.  Fair-goers will have three options to choose from to keep more money in their wallets and put more fun in their summer.

1) Advance Purchase
Buy tickets before August 21 and receive up to 31% off admission prices.  Participating outlets: Shoppers Drug Mart and GO Transit (Lakeshore line & Union Station).

2) Online Purchase
Purchase online in advance before August 21 to receive $4 off adult admission.  Advance purchase also allows patrons to get a head start on the fun with EXpress Entry to the grounds, avoiding lineups at the admission gates.  Go to www.TheEx.com for complete details.

3) Corporate Sales
With savings of up to 35%, this is the most affordable way to buy tickets to The EX.  To qualify, purchase tickets as a group but keep in mind there’s no need to visit as a group.  Fill out the online form at www.TheEx.com to save for groups of 25 or more.

The Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) is Canada’s largest fair and the fourth largest in North America. Founded in 1879, the CNE attracts more than a million visitors over 18 days and generates more than $50 million in economic impact for the City of Toronto and over $70 million for the Province of Ontario on an annual basis.  The 2009 CNE takes place from August 21 to September 7 and offers more than 100 concerts, events and attractions that are all free with admission to the fair.
