The 44th Christmas Fair… …at the Danube Swabian Club in Scarborough was another success
story. All three days welcomed a maximum of visitors – with
money to burn, well, to spend anyway! Many of the visitors also
frequented the restaurant for a chance at some ‘German’ style
home cooking.
Thanks to the efforts of the club’s Swiss Chef
Christian Probst and his staff, none of the guests were
disappointed.
One item that I had not seen before and drew quite a bit of
attention was the “Turbovibe” which is claimed to be a powerful
Vibration Machine that one stands on, to complete your Body
Health and Fitness. It is based on electromagnetic power and
claims benefits that seem miraculous, such as burn excess fat;
increase muscle strength; improves blood circulation and the
lymphatic system; raises energy levels and much more. It all
sounds too good to be true – well, let’s hope it isn’t!
Electro-magnetic power? The brochure says that it is recognized
by Health Canada! Isn’t technology wonderful? “The new, fast and
fun way to shake off the extra pounds?” Sounds great! This
machine was developed by Vladimir Nazarov, a Russian scientist
to helps astronauts remain healthy in space, their website:
www.royalmond.com is very
comprehensive and detailed. But it also contains a health
warning and a list of medical conditions or physical limits and
a caution to consult a physician before using the Turbovibe. |
