Toronto, Ontario: The Canadian Youth Business Foundation
(CYBF), Official Host of Global Entrepreneurship Week Canada
(GEW Canada) is delighted to announce that the CBC will be a
media partner in connection with the PropertyGuys.com "Y-Preneur
Gene" contest.
This national contest will give one aspiring young entrepreneur,
between the ages of 18 and 34, a PropertyGuys.com franchise
package, with an approximate worth of $100,000.
Contestants are asked to submit a five minute or less video of
themselves explaining why they would be an excellent
PropertyGuys.com franchise owner.
As part of the final selection process, stars of CBC
Television's Dragons' Den will help PropertyGuys.com select the
winner of the franchise and supplementary prize package at an
event held at the Canadian Broadcasting Centre in Toronto in
November, as part of GEW Canada activities.
"The CBC has had a pivotal role in showcasing Canadian talent
though innovative programming, such as Dragons’ Den," said
Vivian Prokop, CEO of the Canadian Youth Business Foundation.
"The Y-Preneur Gene contest is displaying our nation’s
entrepreneurial talent, spirit and drive. CYBF is honoured that
the CBC and stars of Dragons’ Den will be taking part in
selecting the winner of this inventive contest, as together with
PropertyGuys.com, we help create another new Canadian young
entrepreneur."
One of CYBF’s highly successful entrepreneurial start-ups,
PropertyGuys.com has more than 400 employees and more than 150
