It seems that Sybille and I just got off the stage from last year’s German Canadian Showcase held at the CNE, and once again we are in the throws of organizing this year’s extravaganza namely,

Alpine Festival

Alpine Culture Takes Flight at the CNE

We are just thrilled that we received a prime date for our event hosted by the CNE...at the big stage...The Toronto Star Bandshell.

Saturday, August 24/2002

We hope this will bring out many more of you to experience a fun filled day of not only admiring the many talented groups we have in this great community but also to see your fellow friends and perhaps make new friends.

This year’s line-up is just as exciting, especially with our special guest star from Vienna, ‘Regina’. We are most pleased that Austrian Airlines once again is a key sponsor by donating two tickets to Vienna...as we are working on securing more sponsors, we certainly welcome other partners to work with us on this important event...don’t hesitate to call Sybille or myself and we will connect with you.

I have always taken great pride in my overall involvement in our community and I did begin very young and followed my father’s footstep, Willi Wulf...he was always a visionary and just loved his heritage...and so do I. As much as my business involves event planning in the corporate world, it gives me such great joy and pleasure to be part of this important day within our community, and to work so closely with many talented and wonderful people. No matter how successful and organized we are in what we present...it is YOU the audience that makes it all come together...I do hope you will mark your calendar, and visit us on the 24th of August...bring your friends, family...and make it an outing...there will be lots of food, a Labatt’s beer garden, exhibits for purchasing, information gathering or simple admiring ...and definitely the show will be entertaining...so spread the word...and let’s get together and have a great party and

Celebrate Our Rich Heritage!

Looking forward to seeing and greeting you with a smile of welcome…

Gaby Schick, Producer, Alpine Festival 2002.
